  • I’m a passionate Innovator/entrepreneur/developer. I thrive on learning and mastering innovative technologies, methods and frameworks. Over the past 4 years, I have been involved in internships in Canada and USA with challenging development schedules, worked with several programming languages involving Machine Learning, AI Chatbots, IoT, Full Stack development, Mobile & Web development; I co-founded an AI startup, led competitive sports teams, played music, managed my time wisely and achieved top performance academically - awarded the Waterloo President’s Distinction Scholarship.
  • I love to travel! Fortunate to have adventured into 20+ countries. I speak four languages and have four citizenships. I am an outgoing person who is eager to make new friends and connections.
  • With my strong technical, interpersonal, communication skills - I am confident to take on any challenge as well as to create a positive, lively team environment.

CISCO Systems Inc. – San Jose
IoT Software Developer

  • Saved Cisco and its customers 50% of the resources by designing and developing a code generation tool to automate data integration to the IoT platform (DSLinks). This tool was UI – Interchangeable, developed using C# to generate intricate IOT-DSA Mustache templates using a custom JSON structure.
    • Learned, understood and applied Cisco’s DSLink Java SDK
    • Examined example links to derive best practices for DSLink code organization
    • Designed a JSON structure that represents the design of a DSLink
    • Created a UI to allow developers to create the JSON structure
    • Created Mustache templates representing the best practices that could be combined with the JSON DSLink representation to generate functioning DSLinks, resulting in a 50% reduction in the effort required to develop new DSLinks
  • Learned and applied Cisco’s IoT strategy and architecture by designing the implementation of Cisco’s Kinetic Platform Integration for an intelligent Intersection in the city of Las Vegas
  • Designed IoT dataflows to optimize data overhead using Cisco’s edge computing

Projects

  • Developed an AI Chatbot using a seq2seq deep learning model with LSTM integration in Python. Used techniques such as stochastic gradient descent, back propagation and gradient vanishing to train the RNN in 1/3 of the time.
  • Created a Twitter Bot in Node.js capable of tweeting back at users who follow the account. Made scripts to integrate Twitter’s API authentication for direct communication with their servers.
  • Designed, built and programmed, as a team, a notepad to music converter through an IoT embedded chip (Omega Board). Used USB partitioning for additional memory and storage to directly run C++ from the Linux based terminal.
  • Coded a time simulation in C++ that calculates the distance of a launched object with air resistance (not possible mathematically).
  • Created a Sudoku game in C which can take templates, has different difficulties and checks the solution all using a graphics based GUI.
